Satellite Tracker has awakened from the dead with the first upgrade to include renewed
Orbital Element (TLE) data downloads again from Celestrak.com and is released as version
2.5.0 on March, 31, 2014. The next version, 2.5.1, released on April 5, 2014, incorporates
Orbital Element (TLE) data downloads from SpaceTrack.org. I am working on the next release,
version 2.5.2, which will incorporate some minor changes along with full compilation with
the latest compiler which, at the moment, is having some problems. Stay tuned!
There is a new link to the new forum called Satellite Tracker! It is the intention of this
forum to replace the Yahoo Groups Satellite Tracker. Please visit the forum and be sure to
register so that you will be able to view all the details. This forum also contains the
official release of the Satellite Tracker Applications software and will no longer be on the
Yahoo Groups Files section.
I have added another link called Yahoo Group Messages which is a link that will open in a new
page and will display all 8000+ messages starting with message 1, the first message Brent
published when he started the Yahoo Group Satellite Tracker. It is rather lengthy but it makes
for good reading. You can use the Find on this page command if you would like to do a search.
