After getting a Nikon d850 I have started ISS tracking again. Meade 14" LX850. Stack of 15 hand picked frames.

Awesome!!
Great setup you have.
Are you shooting at 2845mm FL or?
Are you taking single images or video or?
Thanks for sharing!

Hey Nic,
I am shooting prime focus in photo mode, live view. It can do about 4 FPS full resolution.

Hey Jason,

Nice shot! I saw your name and said "I know this guy!" When I started out in 1990 with a Meade LX10 your pictures that were all over that Meade catalog really inspired me. I did the film thing for a bit but when digital came along, really got involved with it. Doing visual these days but have really gotten into satellite monitoring, telemetry decoding, beacons etc,  as well. BTW, I have all 4 of the Meade digital camera's. The 1616,416,216 and 208 just for nostalgia sake. They all still work too. And just as terribly as ever ha!

Nice to see you still involved and great work as expected.

Take care,
Brian.

Very nice picture. I have just moved again to Aiken, SC and this is my last move. No more moving. Now I need to get everything out of the boxes including my LX-200 GPS ACF and start looking thru the lens to see what I can see out there. All my equipment has been packed away for a very long time. Your work has lit a fire under me to get active and continue the development of the Satellite Tracker software application.
