Adjusting for slewing speed
« on: October 26, 2015, 11:40:54 AM »
I am using a Celestron CG-5 AS-GT mount.  It would be nice if the software had "rough" slew speeds for various mounts and then adjust the first intersect point to account for the slew speed of the mount.  For example... I was tracking the ISS the other evening and my mount has to switch sides during the pass.  By the time it got to the intersect point, it had to get another tracking point to slew to....until it got close enough to start fully tracking the ISS.

This would also be helpful for the initial slewing to an object when the mount has been pointed in another direction.
