I am trying to get ST to work with an LX850. When I use the LX200GPS protocol it goes
into runaway. Since the motor and gear ratio in the 850 are different I suspect it
just needs to be adjusted. I have the gear ratios for the 850, I just need to find out
how ST is controling the LX200GPS then I think I can give John a new ratio to try.

I don't have an answer for you, but the geeks over on the Cloudy Nights forums (in the Meade Computerized Telescopes subsection) might know.
